Iraqi national arrested for Al-Qaeda links
ISLAMABAD, 31 ago (EFE).- Pakistani intelligence agencies during a raid on
friday night have arrested an Iraqi national suspected to be member of
Al-Qaeda network from Pak- Afghan border,a senior security official told EFE
on sunday. Commander of the area force, Fazal Bari, told that the Iraqi
national identified as Jasim Ibn-e-Hatim Baqi, had been arrested last
friday when he was trying to cross border of Pakistan through the area of
Chaman. Bari said the Pakistani border security force had arrested the al
Qaeda suspect, who had then been transferred to city Quetta, of Baluchistan
Province.Pakistan so far have arrested 500 Al-Qaeda members since sep 11 and
all of them hand over to US. EFE
