Todas las celebraciones litúrgicas de la Semana Santa se celebrarán sin fieles en la plaza de San Pedro para evitar la propagación del coronavirus, anunció este domingo el Vaticano.

"Debido a la actual emergencia sanitaria, todas las celebraciones litúrgicas de la Semana Santa se llevarán a cabo sin la presencia física de fieles", indicó en un comunicado la prefectura de la Casa Pontificia.

"Asimismo, comunicamos que hasta el domingo 12 de abril de 2020 las audiencias generales del Santo Padre y la recitación de la Oración Mariana del 'Angelus' de los días domingo, serán transmitidas solo vía 'streaming'", añadió el Vaticano.
