In 2021, El Salvador was the first country in the world to establish bitcoin as legal currency at the initiative of President Nayib Bukele, who has also made happy accounts in recent days. Bukele celebrated last week that the government accumulates 5,689 bitcoins, which totaled 406 million dollars, but few Salvadorans use the cryptocurrency, whose price has reached record levels above 72,000 dollars.
