The House of Lords gave final approval on Monday to a bill empowering Prime Minister Theresa May to notify EU leaders of Britain's intention to leave the European Union following last year's referendum. The vote means the bill has now passed through parliament after weeks of debate and requires only royal assent from Queen Elizabeth II to become law, which is expected to happen on Tuesday.
