Every morning, upon receiving La Nación, our readers not only get the latest information on National and International events, but also a large range of supplements containing specialized articles, very useful for children and adults. News and Sports

Current events in Costa Rica and the rest of the world, and the best information on economy, business and sports can all be found on Section A of La Nación, illustrated with color photographs and a modern layout and design.

* Section A consists of two parts, the first one including National and International news, economy, business and everything related to sports. As far as economy and business, you will find local and foreign stock market information, entrepreneurial news, details on the economical path of Costa Rica and the world, and quotes for different types of currencies.

On Mondays it also includes information about the National Lotto Drawing and on Wednesdays and Saturdays, that of the "Chances".

You can also find the daily weather forecast and pages dedicated to opinion, letters from our readers and forums with the participation of distinguished citizens. This section also includes a summary of the most important information contained in the edition, called En Breve (In Brief).

* The second part called DIRECTORIO, is a section specialized in economical and classified advertisements. It also contains the Obituary, a summary of the most important information of the previous day on the Official Gazette and the most important emergency telephone numbers.

 

VIVA Magazine

* VIVA Magazine contains diverse information on social, cultural and entertainment issues. In it you can also find the social agenda, the cultural listing, comic strips, horoscopes, cross words, the "historical day" column and the daily television and movie theater programming.

Also Viva publishes on Mondays, alternating every two weeks, computing and book review columns.
